Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for services provided by Visualize Interior Decoration LLC ("Visualize Interior", "we", "us", or "our"). It applies alongside the specific terms of your signed proposal, quotation, or contract, which will govern in the event of any conflict.

1. Free Consultation

Initial consultations offered through our website are provided free of charge and carry no obligation or payment.

2. Design & Professional Fees

Where design, concept, or other professional fees are agreed, they are charged for the time, expertise, and deliverables provided. Fees for work already performed are generally non-refundable once that work has commenced.

3. Advance & Milestone Payments

Fit-out and project work typically proceeds on the basis of an advance payment and subsequent milestone payments as set out in your contract. These payments fund design, procurement, labour, and site works that begin promptly upon confirmation.

4. Cancellation by the Client

Before work or procurement begins. You may cancel a confirmed project by written notice. Any refund will be subject to deductions for work already performed, professional time, and non-recoverable costs incurred up to that point.

After work or procurement has begun. Amounts covering completed work, mobilised labour, ordered or produced materials, and bespoke items are non-refundable. Any remaining balance will be reconciled based on the work completed and the costs committed up to the cancellation date.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable once ordered, produced, or commenced:

• Bespoke joinery and custom-made furniture;
• Materials and products procured specifically for your project;
• Completed design work and approved drawings;
• Third-party costs, permits, and authority approvals paid on your behalf.

6. Changes to Scope (Variations)

Changes you request after a scope has been agreed may affect cost and timeline and will be handled through a written variation. Variations are not treated as cancellations.

7. Cancellation by Visualize Interior

In exceptional circumstances—for example, non-payment, unsafe site conditions, or events beyond our reasonable control—we may suspend or cancel a project. In such cases we will reconcile payments fairly against the work completed and the costs committed.

8. Refund Process

Approved refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method or as otherwise agreed, within a reasonable period after the cancellation and reconciliation are finalised. Bank or transfer charges may apply.

9. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Such events do not automatically entitle a party to a refund beyond a fair reconciliation of committed costs.

10. Precedence

Where this Policy conflicts with your signed proposal, quotation, or contract, the terms of that signed document prevail. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.
